Latest Development of 2 EXCOs

We had just concluded an emergency meeting at MB residence. The meeting was attended by majority of the PR Reps including Dato' Nasaruddin who had crossed over to PR on the CNY eve. Those absentees (with apology) are State EXCOs YB Nga Kor Ming, YB Thomas Su, Deputy Speaker YB Hee Yit Foong, State Assemblyperson YB Yew Tian Hoe and YB Leong Mee Meng.
---
I received the notice of meeting around 10-30pm yesterday night, and i have to abandon my previous plan to go back to my hometown Bidor helping out my parents in their stalls.
---
The meeting started at 9.30am and we are briefed by what actually happened. Apparently the last time the 2 EXCOs were seen was at the last EXCO meeting on Friday. They were incommunicado since 26th January, the first day of CNY.
---
The PR believed that their sudden M.I.A. had very much to do with the corruption charges faced by the Two and the Hearing of the same falls on 10.02.2009. The circumstances show that the whole incident was planned, particularly by the other Sect in the Assembly, in order to regain power. Would the dropping of Charges be used as a consideration of defection? Let us just wait and see...
---
In any event, we shall serve the Public as usual. It is sometime more convenient in getting problems solved when you are in the Government, but it does not mean that we cannot continue the struggle by turning into opposition. We are implenting the good policies and changes when we are in Government now, but we will only change to the role of pushing for good policies and changes in the Government when we are in opposition. That is the only different, at least for me,
---
A lot of things, people and leaders had changed especially after 308. Be it those always seems to support the previous Government previously had become so supportive. Those "leaders" in the party who had shown little interest in the Party (DAP) before 308 had changed and suddenly become so interested in the Party matter.
---
We will see the true faces of these People in the worst event of BN/UMNO succeeded in their plan, which started with the sudden M.I.A. of the Two EXCOs.
---
As at now, no panic, the State Government is still stable and will be working for the People as usual...

Happy Chinese New Year

It has been a long time since I updated my Blog, thousands apologies owed…

I would like to take the opportunity to wish all of you a Happy Chinese New Year. It is now 1.04 am, the eve of the CNY eve. It had been some busy and schedule-tight days this week, both politically and legal practice, as a lot of matters needed to be settled.

Finally, after few days designing or more particularly giving ideas to the Designer to design, comment and amend the design, this Bunting is up in Canning. The Canning Dinner tickets on 14.03.2009 were also ready. And I have just finished writing my Chinese New Year message to be issued to the Press tomorrow, while my wife is sitting beside me to get ready the Ang Pow Packet for CNY.

Today is really a tiring day…

My day started at 8 am today where I went to Simee market to get some CNY materials for the decoration of Simee market (one of the hawker voluntarily said he will help to hang this up if I bought for them, hah, not bad! Thanks for his help) and then settle some case in the Service Centre. At about 10.30am I reached my legal office and the files were piling up (of course a lot of works need to catch up before the long weekend) and later proceed for a pre-arranged lunch appointment with a friend at 12.30 noon at Ipoh Garden Mah Poh. At the same time, I went to Ipoh Garden Jalan Too Jee Lim to ensure that the bamboos trees which had been long complained about had been cleared as promised by the MBI officer, and indeed it had been done and serve as an Ang Pow to the residents (as sms-ed by one of the resident to me, hah!)

It was 2.15 pm when I finished my lunch and got back to office for an appointment with client. The discussion cannot hold long as I need to rush back to my Service Centre in Simee for a simple Cheque presentation Programme for 5 Homes in Ipoh, each RM2,000.00, from the proceed of the Dance Centre Charity Programme which we organized in November last year.

Traffic was heavy although not jammed and it has delayed my earlier plan to meet with a Bank Manager in old town for the exchange of new notes. Finally I reached there from my Service Centre at 4.15pm, go some new notes and had some CNY chit chat before proceeding back to office for an interview.

At around 7.00pm, I brought the Contractor who did the Buntings for me to go round and make sure that all the Buntings are being installed at the right place. After a simple dinner and a quick bath, my members are already waiting for me at he Service Centre for the packing of the oranges – to be distributed tomorrow i.e. 24.01.2009 at Simee market. Thanks all the hard work from them.

I got back home at around 11pm and started surfing the net and writing my CNY message. My eyes started to feel heavy now and tomorrow is another heavy day before I get back to Bidor and help my dad and mum in their mee stalls…

Just to share with you all my schedule tomorrow before I end here…. Happy Chinese New Year!!!
