Now the election is over and i would like to thank the people of Canning for giving me a strong mandate.
I have just visited Kg. Simee Market together with kit siang this morning, thanking the people for their support. We are now arranging the visit to other areas such as Canning market, Cempaka market, Ipoh Garden East and Ipoh Garden South etc.
i would also like to thank all the members of the Canning Campaigning team, those in organizing, publicity, polling and counting etc.
As what we have been doing before election, the Ipoh Timur-Canning DAP Team will be visiting the key areas on a weekly basis, after the State Government is formed and everything settled down.
Again, thanks for your support, the People of Canning.

Hi, although i am disappointed to our Sultan's decision. But there's no choice for us. We have to respect their decision. This is only call coalition. Just like before the decision was made, those 3 candidates said they will respect Sultan's decison. If now "boikot" will give BN laugh. Now is 21st century, new generations are accepting multi-cultural for our country. We must open our mind to accept.

i think that cheong is worried too much on islamic law. we stil have DAP to oppose PAS's suggestion. This is their responsibility to agree or disagree with the new rules. As long as we must support DAP and they must fight for it. We give them 4 or 5 years to manipulate then we only can judge on this. Do not be too aggressive on islamic law. Let's DAP handle for it. I think they can manage it. Try all the best for 4 or 5 years and do not let us disappointed. Must be better than opponent. Wishing DAP all the best in future.
I think that bn will use the issue that dap and lim kit siang had betrayed our chinese in perak and this will affect the people votes especially chinese. And they will have a same thinking that is when they vote for dap, it is same to vote for pas. We are also open-minded but almost all of the chinese will afraid of mb pas will begin the islamic laws in perak without known by the people. We also fully support dap but this really makes us more frightened.
